Investigation into leaks in Lava Jato was requested by Asfor Rocha.

Former president of the Superior Court of Justice, Cesar Asfor Rocha, sent a request to the Attorney General of the Republic, Raquel Dodge, last week, asking the Federal Police to open an investigation into the selective leaks from Lava Jato.

Asfor was the target of a leak stemming from the alleged plea bargain agreement of Antonio Palocci. The press published that the former president of the Court had received R$ 5 million to help bury the investigations of Operation Sandcastle, according to possible accounts from Palocci.
 
The former minister attempted to obtain, through formal channels, confirmation that Palocci had indeed made such accusations, but without success. He then decided to hire former Attorney General Aristides Junqueira as his lawyer in the case and pressure Dodge to do what Rodrigo Janot never did: investigate and stop the leaks.
