247 - The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), stated this Wednesday (12) that the Minister of the Secretariat of Institutional Relations (SRI), Gleisi Hoffmann (PR), "is very committed" to having a good relationship with party leaders. The two leaders had a meeting this Tuesday (11) in Brasília (DF).

"It wasn't about specific issues, it was more about reaching an agreement in the relationship. I left very hopeful that, alongside the leaders, we will discuss with the government the future agendas that should reach the House," said the Speaker of the House.

For this Wednesday (12), the forecast was for a meeting between Gleisi and the president of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP), and with the government leaders in the Senate, Jaques Wagner (PT-BA), and in Congress, Randolfe Rodrigues (PT-AP).

In February, House leaders received the federal government's priority agenda for Congress in 2025. The then Minister of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha, currently in the Health Ministry, presented six main areas: economic agenda, stimulating entrepreneurship, education, protection in the digital environment, climate change, and social justice and defense of democracy. The proposed Constitutional Amendment on Security, submitted by the Ministry of Justice, was mentioned in this last section.
