247 - The Jair Bolsonaro government will allocate R$ 592,4 million in parliamentary amendments to states and municipalities. The money will be deposited into the accounts of regional governments next Monday (29). According to the Ministry of Economy, 14 states and 1,5 municipalities will be included. The information is from the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo.

The governor or mayor may spend the money as they see fit, but must respect the rule of allocating at least 70% to investments. Using the funds to pay salaries or other benefits to active or retired public employees is prohibited.

The money could be used to purchase equipment for the healthcare sector or to open new hospital beds.
