The Federal District government will have an Integrated Management Center.

"The CGI consists of having the various government agencies working together in the same environment, receiving demands, initiating tasks, and creating greater interaction with the population," said the Secretary of the Civil House, Swedenberger Barbosa; all systems will be integrated and will gather strategic information; the bidding process to hire the company responsible for the implementation will take place on the 10th.

Beatriz Ferrari, from Agência Brasília - This week, on the 10th, the bidding process will begin to contract, through a public-private partnership, the company responsible for implementing the Integrated Management Center (CGI) of the Federal District Government.

"The CGI consists of having the various government agencies working together in the same environment, receiving demands, initiating tasks, and creating greater interaction with the population," said the Secretary of the Civil House, Swedenberger Barbosa.

The system will integrate all existing government information systems and gather strategic information that will enable rapid responses in the areas of security and public service management.

Released at the end of August, the tender calls for a 15-year contract, renewable for another 20 years. The investment will be R$ 262 million. The bidding process is expected to be completed by the end of November.

TECHNOLOGY - The CGI is the second step in a system implemented last December, which consists of real-time monitoring of data and public bodies in the Federal District through cameras spread throughout the Federal District and interactive electronic spreadsheets: the Monitoring and Management System.

"We georeferenced all public equipment. We monitored 128 cameras and 820 projects," explained Gustavo Shimoda, director of projects and computerized systems at the Civil House, one of those responsible for creating the technology.

The technology has access to cameras installed in various hospitals, the subway, and some roads. It's possible to detect if there's a large gathering of patients waiting for treatment, for example. It also has access to real-time data from all ongoing infrastructure projects, including schools, daycare centers, the subway, the power grid, and more.

The information and images are available on 12 panels inside Governor Agnelo Queiroz's office and on his personal tablet.

The director of the Hospital de Base (HB), Julival Fagundes, says he has already received calls from the governor asking for explanations about what he was seeing through the cameras. "He pays close attention to the HB emergency room. He always calls to find out why an ambulance is stopped or why a patient is on a stretcher. And we have to give him answers," he said.

"The system also tracks all decisions of the Budget Execution Board (JEO) and the DF's Structuring Projects (with the main government investments in the cities) and the PAC (programs developed with the Federal Government), among others," added Barbosa, a user of the system.

The Monitoring and Management System was created by six career employees of the GDF (Government of the Federal District), at no cost.
