The government says it caught 19 cases of illegal campaigning near polling stations and 3 instances of violating the secrecy of the vote.

Seven incidents of illegal transportation of voters were also recorded, according to the Ministry of Justice.

247 - The Ministry of Justice reported this Sunday morning (2) that, until 10:38 am, 19 cases of campaigning at polling stations, seven occurrences of illegal transportation of voters, six cases of vote buying and three of violation of voting secrecy were registered.

More than 156 million Brazilians are eligible to vote in this year's elections. Voters will elect federal representatives, state (or district) representatives, senators, governors, and the president of the Republic.
