Brasilia 247 Neymar's masterpiece unfolded before more than 67 fans at the Mané Garrincha National Stadium in Brasília, during the opening match of the FIFA Confederations Cup™ on June 15th. His shot into the top corner, unstoppable for goalkeeper Kawashima, in the 3-0 victory against Japan, paved the way for the winning campaign that culminated in the tournament title.

Besides Neymar's goal, Olivera's goal for Náutico in the classic against Sport, for the Copa Sudamericana, is on the list of the most beautiful of the year. Another in the running is Ibrahimovic, with a bicycle kick goal in the friendly between Sweden and England. The 10 nominees for the Puskas Award were presented by FIFA this Monday (11/11).

About Me FIFA has opened voting on its website, and fans can now participate. The three goals with the most votes by December 9th will be selected for the final. After that, FIFA and the French magazine FranceFootball will decide the goal of the year.

This is the fourth consecutive time that Neymar has participated in the awards. The Barcelona striker was elected "goal of the year" in 2011, after scoring in a Santos match against Flamengo at Vila Belmiro, in the Brazilian Championship. In 2010, he was nominated for a goal scored for Santos against Santo André, in that year's Paulista Championship.

In 2012, Neymar was also nominated for the spectacular goal he scored in Santos' match against Internacional, when he sprinted from midfield to the penalty area, dribbling past several opponents.
