From the Housing Secretariat - The "Minha Casa, Minha Vida/Morar Bem" program has qualified another 1.139 families to receive housing in the DF, according to a publication this Tuesday (10) in the DF Official Gazette. With the new list, there are now 77.831 qualified by the program.

"These families provided the necessary documentation and were qualified to participate in the social housing program promoted by the GDF," explained the Secretary of Housing, Geraldo Magela.

Of the 1.139 eligible families, 891 are from the Individual Registration List (RII) and 248 from the Entity Registration List (RIE), meaning they were nominated by cooperatives. Of this total, some will live in buildings constructed by companies, some will live in developments built by housing cooperatives, and a minority will be provided with housing in Jardins Mangueiral.

The next step is to send the data of these families to the financial agent (Banco do Brasil or Caixa), in order to allow the signing of the financing contract with the bank.

To participate in the "Minha Casa, Minha Vida/Morar Bem" program, it is necessary to be registered in the New Housing Registry—one of the tools of the "Morar Bem" program. In total, 375.960 candidates registered, with 323.015 in the RII and 52.945 in the RIE.
