247 - Future Defense Minister, José Múcio, met this Monday morning (26) with Paulo Sérgio Nogueira, the current head of the ministry, to discuss the succession in command of the Armed Forces.
According to information published by the newspaper Valor EconômicoIt was decided that the first change will be in the Navy and should take place between Wednesday (28) and Thursday (29) of this week, when Fleet Admiral Marcos Sampaio Olsen should take command.
On the 30th, General Júlio Cesar de Arruda will assume command of the Army. Air Force Lieutenant-Brigadier Marcelo Kanitz Damasceno will be officially appointed as the head of the Air Force on January 2nd.
