Dino says Constitution stolen during protests has been found.
The Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) has begun renovations to its headquarters building.
Agência Brasil/EBC - The Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flávio Dino, informed today (12) that the replica of the 1988 Constitution stolen from inside the facilities of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) during the undemocratic acts on Sunday (8).
The confirmation was made through the minister's social media accounts, and no further details of the seizure were released. "The Constitution that the terrorists stole from the Supreme Court was seized and recovered. Long live the Constitution! It won and will always win," Dino wrote.
The Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) has begun renovations of its headquarters building. Maintenance teams are repairing the desks and chairs used by the justices, the electrical installations, and cleaning graffiti and broken glass. The artwork will also be restored.
The renovation is expected to be completed by February 1st, at which point in-person sessions will resume after the recess.
