247 - The Esplanade of Ministries in Brasília will host the official September 7th parade this Sunday, organized by the federal government, which this year will have three main themes: Brazil of Brazilians, COP30 and New PAC e Brazil of the FutureThe event features the participation of the Armed Forces — Navy, Army and Air Force — and the traditional performance of the Smoke Squadron.

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, ministers, and other officials will attend the parade, scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM. Public access is free. The government of the Federal District expects to receive more than 50,000 people.

To facilitate the arrival and departure of the public, there is reinforcement in public transportation. Extra buses will run between 7 am and 13 pm, covering regions such as Paranoá, Itapoã, São Sebastião, Samambaia, Brazlândia, Ceilândia, Taguatinga, and Sobradinho. The metro operates from 5:30 am to 21:30 pm, and the system Go for free guarantees free travel during the holiday.

Access to the grandstands will be controlled and closed when maximum capacity is reached. Vehicle traffic on the Esplanade of Ministries has been blocked since 17 pm on Saturday and will only be reopened after the parade ends. Three Traffic Control Points (PCTRANs) will be set up to organize the flow of people and vehicles.

The Public Security Secretariat of the Federal District recommends that visitors arrive early, bring water and light snacks, and follow the guidelines regarding permitted and prohibited items. Among the prohibited items are weapons, fireworks, unauthorized drones, and any item that could compromise security. It is permitted to bring light snacks, water, juices in plastic containers, caps, hats, and sunscreen. Portable toilets and hydration stations will be available on site.
