After raising over R$ 1 million to pay the fine imposed on him by the courts in AP 470, the former treasurer of the PT (Workers' Party) will spend a weekend with his family in an apartment in Brasília; the semi-open prison regime allows for this benefit every 15 days.
247 - Delúbio Soares' defense team reported that the fine imposed by AP 470 was paid yesterday by the convicted man. In just a few days, an online campaign launched in the name of the former PT treasurer raised over R$ 1 million – R$ 600 more than needed to cover the penalty.
The largest contribution received was R$ 48, from a lawyer who wishes to remain anonymous. The smallest was R$ 20.
