Metropolises - The occupancy rate of intensive care unit (ICU) beds in the public network of the Federal District, specifically for the care of patients with Covid-19, reached maximum capacity on the morning of Tuesday (January 25). The last update from the InfoSaúde portal, responsible for disseminating the daily monitoring of the pandemic in the Federal District, occurred at 7:10 am.
Of the total 83 beds, 25 remain blocked, while the two units that were vacant have been occupied. There are 10 patients on the waiting list for treatment.
There was also an increase in demand for beds in intermediate care units (ICUs). The occupancy rate in this case rose to 71,11%, and of the 45 spaces designated for patients, 32 are occupied.
