247 - The second public session of the Correios tender for the hiring of an advertising agency took place this Thursday (13), in Brasília (DF). The total value of the contract is estimated at up to R$ 380 million, with the expectation that the contract will be finalized in the coming months. Full details about the tender are available on the official Correios website.

During the activity outlined in the tender, the results of the evaluation of the technical proposals were announced, with four companies being classified. From this point, a five-day period is open for the submission of appeals. The next stage, scheduled for the first week of April, will be the opening session for the price proposals, as stipulated in the tender.

The current management of the Brazilian Postal Service (Correios) has been dedicated to the strategic repositioning of the brand and, as part of this process, initiated a new bidding cycle for the hiring of advertising agencies. The bidding process began in 2023, and the tender notice was published in January 2024.

The Brazilian postal service (Correios) has not invested in advertising since 2018, as previous contracts were terminated and funding for the area was suspended by the previous government as part of the company's privatization process.
