247 - Judge Rosângela Zacarkim dos Santos determined that Edgar Ricardo de Oliveira will remain imprisoned in the State Central Penitentiary, in Cuiabá (MT). He was arrested for involvement in the murders of seven people in a bar in Sinop (MT), last Tuesday (21).
In her decision, the judge stated that it is necessary to "safeguard the safety and physical integrity of the accused."
Oliveira surrendered to the police this Thursday (23). He will remain in custody for 30 days following the judge's decision, time for the Civil Police to investigate and send the inquiry to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
On Wednesday (22), the other suspect, Ezequias, was found by the police after anonymous reports, exchanged shots with the agents and died from gunshot wounds.
