Celina Leão is trying to place the blame for the Bolsonaro-led terrorist attacks of January 8th on Lula's government.
The acting governor of the Federal District said that failures by Lula's government also allowed the criminal acts of Bolsonaro supporters in Brasília.
247 - The acting governor of the Federal District, Celina Leão (PP), is now trying to shift responsibility for the security failure that allowed Bolsonaro-supporting terrorists to invade and vandalize the headquarters of the Three Powers in Brasília on January 8th to the Lula (PT) government.
According to her, there were errors in the area of security and intelligence in the federal government.
"All the burden fell on us [in the Federal District]. [But] You have flaws in the GSI [Institutional Security Office] of the [Presidential] Palace. You have flaws in several places. Flaws in the intelligence of other branches of government, you understand? So it didn't just happen to us, it happened in a generalized way. But the government of the Federal District was certainly the most penalized," Celina stated. Folha de S. Paul.
She also defended the suspended governor of the Federal District, Ibaneis Rocha (MDB): "he was misinformed throughout the entire process that was taking place."
