247 - The chairman of the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ), Representative Osmar Serraglio (PMDB-PR), postponed until Thursday the 14th at 9 am the continuation of the debate on the appeal filed by Eduardo Cunha (PMDB-RJ) against the impeachment process against him in the Ethics Committee.
The decision outraged the members of the committee, who wanted to vote today on the appeal of the suspended congressman. The parliamentarians began shouting "maneuver" and "shame" at Serraglio, who is an ally of Cunha.
The vote on the appeal was scheduled for this Wednesday, so that it could then be forwarded for analysis in plenary session. Serraglio stated that he "regretted" it, but that he could not interfere with the vote for president of the Chamber, scheduled for 17:30 pm.
"SHAME: Osmar Serraglio, president of the CCJ and ally of Cunha, wants to end the session and call another one for tomorrow when there will be no quorum," posted Erika Kokay (PT-DF) on Twitter, minutes before the end of the session.
