Brasilia will have a new international flight.

Starting in December, Brasília will gain its seventh international destination with a direct flight to Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, a region bathed by the Caribbean Sea and known for its beaches and resorts. According to the Deputy Secretary of Tourism and Special Projects of the Federal District, Luis Otávio Neves, the capital is already an important connecting point for Brazil abroad. "This new flight will increase the flow of people to the city, in addition to opening the market's eyes to the capital's relevance in the tourism sector," says Neves.

Brasilia 247 - Starting in December, Brasília will have another direct flight to an international destination. With this, Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek Airport will have its seventh international destination, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, a region bathed by the Caribbean Sea and known for its beaches and resorts.

According to the Deputy Secretary of Tourism and Special Projects of the Federal District, Luis Otávio Neves, the capital is already an important connecting point for Brazil abroad. "This new flight will increase the flow of people in the city, in addition to opening the market's eyes to the capital's relevance in the tourism scene," says Neves.

According to the deputy secretary, the reduction of the ICMS tax rate on aviation kerosene in the Federal District was crucial in enabling innovations. He stated that the capital gained 206 new flights, 36 of which are international routes. Neves believes the trend is for more and more companies to be interested in operating in the Federal District.
