Bolsonaro is isolated and aggressive, according to political opponents.

Supreme Court authorizes quarantine for governors and Senate paves the way to overturn government's mini-reform. In just one week, Bolsonaro criticizes the Supreme Court, Rodrigo Maia, and fires former Health Minister.

247 - Opponents of Jair Bolsonaro, interviewed through reports in the judiciary, legislature and in the states, assess that the retired captain feels political weakness and compensates with aggressiveness in the confrontation. The article from this Saturday (18) is from the newspaper Folha de São Paulo.

In the last week alone, Bolsonaro criticized the Supreme Federal Court, Rodrigo Maia, and fired the former Minister of Health, Luiz Henrique Mandetta. Bolsonarism has encountered resistance at all levels, with clear political consequences, the report points out.

"He throws stones, and Parliament will throw flowers at the federal government," declared the Speaker of the House, Rodrigo Maia (DEM-RJ), regarding the accusations he received.

Bolsonaro was also hit with some surprises. Last Wednesday (15), the STF (Supreme Federal Court) stated that governors can impose quarantines to contain the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. The Senate also opened the way for the provisional measure of the government's mini labor reform to expire on Monday (20).
