Bolsonaro says his latest coronavirus test came back negative.
Jair Bolsonaro has spent the last few days promoting chloroquine, after saying he contracted the disease.
Brazil Agency - After nearly three weeks with a confirmed case of Covid-19, President Jair Bolsonaro said this Saturday (25) that the result of a new test was negative. The information was shared on a social network.
"RT-PCR for Sars-Cov 2: negative. Good morning everyone," he posted. The president was referring to the RT-PCR test, which is the main diagnostic test to identify the active presence of the Covid-19 virus in the body.
Bolsonaro is 65 years old and has been undergoing treatment since July 7th, when he tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Since then, he has remained in isolation at the Alvorada Palace, where he has been meeting with ministers via videoconference.
Last Wednesday (22), Bolsonaro had done a test that came back positive for the virus.
