Arthur Lira intends to have a dialogue with Lula "without any kind of weapons."

247 - The Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), stated that he intends to have a dialogue "without any kind of weapons" with the president-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). The congressman told close associates that he intends to have a private conversation, without any "wireless calls," with the PT member. This information comes from... CNN journalist Daniela Lima.

The Workers' Party member is expected to be in Brasília (DF) next week for meetings with the presidents of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), and the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Minister Rosa Weber.

"We're going to have a personal conversation, without any weapons involved, a conversation in a calm tone to make a diagnosis and, from there, see how things will proceed," he said.
