According to the organization, 250 prison officers from the Federal District, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Paraná, São Paulo and Tocantins participated in the demonstration. According to the military police, there were 150. The Brazilian Federation of Prison Officers (Febrasp) demands the inclusion of the category in article 144 of the Federal Constitution, to officially make the career of prison officer part of Public Security. The protesters ask for the removal of the officers from the pension reform and the hiring of new permanent employees.

Three lanes of the Monumental Axis, heading towards the National Congress, were closed. "Those who understand prisons are being excluded from this debate.
