247 - The president of the PL, Valdemar Costa Neto, followed the governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema., and decided to hold President Lula (PT) responsible for the coup-mongering attacks by Bolsonaro supporters on the Three Powers buildings on January 8th in Brasília.

In an interview with CBN radio this Friday (20), Valdemar said that "the blame for all this lies with the current government. They are the ones who control the Army, the police, and this happened. There weren't enough police officers to defend the federal buildings."

When questioned about Jair Bolsonaro's role in the attacks, especially in inciting his supporters to vandalize public buildings, Neto exonerated Bolsonaro. "Zero [responsibility]. The responsibility lies with the Minister of Justice [Flávio Dino] who issued an order stating that the National Force would defend the federal buildings, and there wasn't a single member of the National Guard there. Nobody encouraged anything," he said.
