Temer is unable to assert his dominance over Parente, who is raising gasoline prices.
Weaker than Pedro Parente, who was appointed by FHC to hand over the pre-salt reserves and Petrobras refineries, Michel Temer released a statement informing that he maintains the state-owned company's pricing policy, the cause of all the chaos in the country; however, refineries are shut down throughout the country and could lead to the downfall of the coup.
247 - On the same day that Pedro Parente defied the country and raised gasoline prices again, and that oil workers paralyzed activities throughout the country, the government of Michel Temer announced this Wednesday, the 30th, that it will maintain the policy of price adjustments at Petrobras.
"The measures announced by the government to guarantee the predictability of diesel prices, which have been reduced for consumers, have preserved, as we will continue to preserve, Petrobras' pricing policy," said the Presidential Palace.
