Brazil's Supreme Court resumes on Wednesday a trial that could end the secret budget.

The trial began last week with the reading of the report and oral arguments from parties involved in the case.

247 - The Supreme Federal Court (STF) resumes this Wednesday (14) the trial that could end the secret budget. The Court is judging four actions, filed by Psol, PSB, Cidadania and Partido Verde, which point to the unconstitutionality of the mechanism.

The trial began last week with the reading of the report and oral arguments from parties involved in the case. The Attorney General of the Union, Bruno Bianco, representing the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) government, defended the constitutionality of the provision. Deputy Attorney General of the Republic Lindôra Araújo He also came out in defense of the rapporteur's amendments.

The case is under the jurisdiction of the president of the Supreme Court, Justice Rosa Weber.

President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) is against the secret budget.
