Brazil's Supreme Court (STF) rejects Bolsonaro's decision and authorizes the delivery of 68 ventilators to the government of Maranhão.

The injunction, issued by Supreme Court Justice Celso de Mello, was granted in response to a lawsuit filed by Flávio Dino's (PCdoB) administration against the Bolsonaro government, which had blocked the transaction of 68 ventilators last month.

247 - Supreme Court Justice Celso de Mello has ordered a company in Santa Catarina to deliver 68 ventilators to Maranhão within 48 hours. information This is from the Painel column of the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper. 

The injunction, the column reports, was granted in a lawsuit filed by the Flávio Dino (PCdoB) administration against the federal government, which had blocked the transaction last month.

The purchase of the equipment was made on March 19th. Five days later, on March 24th, the Ministry of Health sent an official letter to the company requesting the respirators produced so that it could distribute them according to its criteria.


On Sunday (20), Dino stressed on his social networks that the government's "threats" will "not deter him from this commitment" to save lives, referring to the fact that the government claimed that Dino acquired the respirators illegally.
