Following the decision by the First Panel of the Supreme Federal Court to remove Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG) from office, the Senate removed the politician's name from the list of sitting parliamentarians on its website; as a result, Aécio is formally suspended and will have his salary reduced to one-third (R$ 11.264,00).
247 - Following the decision by the First Panel of the Supreme Federal Court to remove Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG) from office and order his nightly confinement, the Senate removed the name of the politician from the list of sitting parliamentarians on its website.

The senator's name will also be removed from the voting panel, as happened in June when he was also removed from his duties by Minister Edson Fachin, and the politician will not be entitled to representation allowance or an official car.
