Rui Costa: The government is structured with 37 ministries, and Lula already has all the ministers in mind.

The future Chief of Staff assured that, despite the increased number of ministries, the number of positions has actually decreased due to the reassignment of personnel.

By Marcelo Auler, from Brasília - The future Minister of the Civil House, Rui Costa, told journalists when he arrived at the CCBB on Tuesday morning (20) that the entire government structure is in place with 37 ministries.

According to him, Lula has already prepared the organizational chart and knows where each minister will sit on January 2nd to begin work.

The former governor of Bahia declined to name names, saying it was up to Lula to announce them or authorize someone else to do so.

Despite the increase in the number of ministries, he assured that there had even been a reduction in positions - with the exception of the ministers themselves - through the reassignment of personnel and the restructuring of advisors.

GSI and Lula's security detail

The future Chief of Staff informed that a name has already been chosen to head the new GSI (Institutional Security Office) - which will be announced soon by Lula.

"We will have a temporary structure that will continue to provide security for the president during the transition, until something is defined," he stated.

Reports indicate that while the new GSI (Institutional Security Office) is being assembled, replacing the Bolsonaro government's team, the Federal Police will maintain control of the president-elect's security, as it has been doing.
