The arrest of Anderson Torres is a message to all who conspired against the country, says Randolfe.
The leader of Lula's government in Congress, Senator Randolfe, said that those who conspired against democracy over the last four years must be held accountable.

"The arrest of Anderson Torres was yet another message to those who have spent the last 4 years disrespecting the law and conspiring against the country. Now there is no room for excuses, only accountability. Brazil is telling the world that it will not give space to coup plotters," Randolfe said on his social media.

Torres was arrested on Saturday morning (14) upon returning to Brazil. He was on vacation in the United States, from where he witnessed the terrorist attacks by Bolsonaro fanatics on January 8 in Brasília. He was dismissed from the Public Security Secretariat of the Federal District by the suspended governor, Ibaneis Rocha (MDB). Responding to a request from the Federal Police (PF), the Supreme Federal Court (STF) minister Alexandre de Moraes ordered Torres' arrest.
