The Temer-Anastasia plan is to take down Dilma before the heat of Lava Jato begins.
A note published this Sunday by journalist Elio Gaspari reports that, in August, Lava Jato will expose leaders of the PMDB and PSDB parties, which joined forces to promote the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff; this explains the haste of interim president Michel Temer and Senator Antonio Anastasia (PSDB-MG), rapporteur of the impeachment commission in the Senate, to accelerate the definitive removal of President Dilma Rousseff, shortening the deadlines for the defense; however, this maneuver runs up against the procedure defined by the Supreme Federal Court and the position of the president of Congress, Senator Renan Calheiros (PMDB-AL).
247 - What explains the haste of the interim government and Senator Antonio Anastasia (PSDB-MG) to bypass the procedure defined by the Supreme Federal Court, shortening the deadline for the defense of the suspended president Dilma Rousseff?
Officially, the explanation is the need to allow the country to move forward and implement adjustment measures – Michel Temer's team seems convinced that they will only adopt tougher measures, such as labor and pension reforms, after the interim period.
However, a note published this Sunday by journalist Elio Gaspari provides another explanation. He reports that, in August, Lava Jato will expose the leaders of the PMDB and PSDB parties, which joined forces to promote the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff.
It is already known that 13 governors and 36 senators will be affected – many of whom have already voted in favor of the admissibility of the impeachment process. Therefore, it would be an even greater embarrassment for a process already seen by a large part of public opinion as a conspiracy by a corrupt political oligarchy that united to remove an honest president and that failed to stop Lava Jato, as desired, for example, by Senator Romero Jucá (PMDB-RR).
Temer and Anastasia's haste, however, is hampered by the procedure defined by the Supreme Federal Court and the position of the president of Congress, Senator Renan Calheiros (PMDB-AL), who has already expressed his opposition to the attempt to curtail the right to defense.

THE TIME HAS COME
Judging by the way things are going, starting in August, the Lava Jato investigations will expose the bigwigs of the PSDB and PMDB parties. Until then, there will be leaks, but from that fateful month onwards, names and, above all, numbers will emerge. Big names and big numbers.
Those who are worried should take tranquilizers and wait for the inevitable.
