247 - Federal deputies Paulo Pimenta (RS), leader of the PT party in the Chamber of Deputies, and Wadih Damous (RJ), expressed solidarity with former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, imprisoned in Curitiba (PR), after being convicted without evidence and having an arrest warrant issued without exhausting all judicial appeals.

"We continue here every day in an incessant fight denouncing Moro, TRF4, Fachin, and the Lava Jato prosecutors. Rest assured: there hasn't been a single day since you've been there that we haven't given our best to try to convey to Brazilian society the feeling of injustice," said Pimenta in a video by Ricardo Stuckert, Lula's photographer.

"Everything we do is to combat this situation that led to your imprisonment. We are outraged and at the same time confident. We still believe that, with the strength of the Brazilian people, we will reverse this situation," Damous stated.
