"An investigation has been opened within the Attorney General's Office for a preliminary inquiry into the reported facts. Should stronger evidence of possible wrongdoing by the defendant emerge, a criminal investigation will be requested from the Supreme Federal Court (STF) for the adoption of appropriate measures," Aras wrote in the statement.
Heleno signed and published a text on May 22nd, stating that a possible seizure of Jair Bolsonaro's cell phone would be "inconceivable" and would bring "unpredictable consequences for national stability".
