Foreign journalists attending the World Economic Forum in Switzerland have been puzzled and have asked reporters from the Brazilian press why President Jair Bolsonaro will not be giving the traditional press conference that heads of state attending the event usually grant; Bolsonaro's press conference was listed on the Forum's official website agenda until last week, but was removed by the organizers after not receiving confirmation from the Brazilian government; Bolsonaro is avoiding questions related to the scandal involving his son, Flávio Bolsonaro.

247 - Foreign journalists attending the World Economic Forum in Switzerland have expressed surprise and asked Brazilian reporters why President Jair Bolsonaro is not giving the traditional press conference that heads of state attending the event usually grant. Bolsonaro's press conference was listed on the Forum's official website agenda until last week, but "disappeared" after the Coaf scandal.The announcement was withdrawn by the organizers themselves, as it had not received confirmation from the Brazilian government. Bolsonaro avoids questions related to the scandal involving his son, Flávio Bolsonaro. The episode took on much greater proportions this weekend, following reports by Globo.

Davos is Bolsonaro's first international trip, and he will use his attendance at the World Economic Forum as a showcase to the world. "Upon arriving at his hotel in the village known for its ski resort, he avoided the press, entering his hotel through the garage," reported reporters from Estado.
