Moraes releases funds from the bill to pay employee salaries.
The decision released R$ 1.155.673,44
247 - Alexandre de Moraes, minister of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) and president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), determined on Wednesday (21) the partial unblocking of the PL's accounts, thus allowing the payment of salaries to the party's employees, including possibly to Jair Bolsonaro.
The decision released R$ 1.155.673,44, relating to the months of December 2022, including the 13th-month salary, and January 2023. The accounts of the party presided over by Valdemar Costa Neto were blocked due to a fine for bad-faith litigation applied by the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) to the party after a lawsuit that questioned, without evidence, the electoral system.
The Liberal Party (PL) requested the release of R$ 2.071.267,57 from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), but, according to the president of the TSE, it only proved a debt of R$ 1.155.673,44.
