Minister Luiz Sérgio is questioned about a possible departure.

Issues like that are resolved through conversation, retorted the head of Institutional Relations.

The Minister of Institutional Relations, Luiz Sérgio, declared he was "confident" in a solution to the internal disputes between various factions within the PT (Workers' Party) vying for his position. While participating in the Federal Dialogues of the Southeast Region meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Sérgio declined to comment on his likely departure from the ministry. He also avoided the press at the end of the event, leaving through the back door of the hotel where it was held.

"Issues like this are resolved through conversation. It is through dialogue that a good result is achieved, I am confident of that," declared the minister, referring to the disputes within the PT (Workers' Party). Regarding speculation that he will no longer be responsible for political negotiations in Dilma Rousseff's government, Sérgio repeated the motto he has been using in recent days. "In politics, there are times to speak, there are times when politicians talk a lot, and there are times to be silent. My time is one of silence," said the minister, before the start of the meeting.
