247 - Michelle Bolsonaro, the former first lady, used social media to say that the bucket full of coins that were removed from the reflecting pool of the Alvorada Palace were donated to Vila do Pequenino Jesus, located in the Federal District, which serves 80 people with special needs.

The statement comes after allegations from former employees who revealed that in order to remove the coins from the entire premises, it was necessary to completely empty the place, causing the death of the carp that lived there. Michele even confirmed the sacrifice of the fish so that the money could be removed.

"The carp die if they are left out of the mirror for too long, which needed cleaning," highlights a report by the journalist. Laura Jardim in his column in the newspaper O Globo.

Michelle posted a receipt on her Instagram stories showing a donation of R$ 2.213,55 to the institution.

In her posts, the former first lady also shared a video of a man named Jorginho, who supposedly belongs to the Vila do Pequenino Jesus (Village of Little Jesus), giving thanks for the "little coins from the lake."
