Marina made herself available to seek support from the PDT candidate in the second round.
"We must have a fruitful dialogue with Ciro and Simone, a respectful dialogue. Ciro is an important political leader in the history of our country," said the former minister, according to reports published by newspaper Valor Econômico.
Regarding the election, the former senator said she was hopeful about a possible rapprochement after Ciro said this Sunday (2) that he needed time to decide what position he will take in the second round. "I was at peace. At this moment we will need everyone. I have always had great respect for his [Ciro's] leadership," she added.
In 2018, Ciro went to Paris for the second round of voting, after having been defeated in the presidential election.
