"I am certain that the same will happen with President Lula."
In Dilma's assessment, former President Lula is "a leader, a symbol, and an example for everyone," and she believes that the former president's strength and determination, combined with his ability to overcome "adversities of all kinds," will be key to him overcoming "this latest challenge."
Dilma also stated in the note that the former president will have the support and strength of his wife, Mrs. Marisa Letícia.
