247 - Journalist Eumano Silva tweeted about recent discussions regarding Lula's defense of labor reform. "From an electoral point of view, cutting workers' rights, however small, looks very bad. It seems that the Workers' Party candidate has tied his competitors in knots," he wrote on his social media account. 

The newspaper Estado de S. Paulo published, this Sunday (9), the editorial "The PT does not know what citizenship is", in which it defends the labor reform implemented after the 2016 coup d'état, which reduced the income of Brazilians, did not generate jobs and further precariousized labor relations.

"Lula's resistance to the 2017 labor reform is therefore not an accidental aspect, a one-off misunderstanding, so to speak. It exposes, once again, the great fissure that has always existed between the PT's discourse in defense of workers' rights and the reality of the party, which from its origins prioritized the interests of unions and union leaders," writes the editorialist.
