Lula appoints political council for the transition; see the names.
According to the list obtained by CNN Brazil, there are representatives from the PDT and MDB parties on the team. The political group will be coordinated by Gleisi.
247 - President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) has finalized and defined the team for the political council of the government transition. The group, according to the CNN Brazil, will have members of the parties that declared support for Lula in the electoral campaign, including the MDB and the PDT, who joined the campaign in the second round of the elections.
The report also states that "PT president Gleisi Hoffmann will lead the team. The only name yet to be determined is that of the MDB representative."
The expectation is that the name of the last member of the team will be announced this Tuesday (8), after a meeting between Gleisi and the party president, Baleia Rossi, in Brasília.
