Lula decides not to give Gleisi a ministry; she remains president of the PT.

The federal congresswoman has presided over the Workers' Party since 2016 and her term ends next year.

247 - President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva kept federal deputy Gleisi Hoffmann (PR) as national president of the PT. The decision was communicated to PT senators and deputies during a meeting on Thursday afternoon (1) at the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (CCBB), headquarters of the transition office, in Brasília (DF).

According to information published by the Julia Duailibi's blog, on the G1 portalGleisi will not be a minister because she holds great importance within the party. She has been president of the Workers' Party since 2016 and has a term that runs until next year.

The PT member was the second most voted federal deputy for the state of Paraná, obtaining 4,26% (261.242 votes). In first place was Deltan Dallagnol (PODEMOS), with 5,63% (344.917).
