Jô Moraes is confirmed as the vice-presidential candidate on Fernando Pimentel's ticket.

Previously considered a candidate for the Senate, federal deputy Jô Moraes, from the PCdoB party, confirmed that she will be part of Fernando Pimentel's (PT) ticket in the race for the Palácio da Liberdade (Governor's Palace); the deputy stated that this will be the biggest challenge of her political career. "Minas Gerais will show Brazil that it will fight, once again, against neoliberal logic," said the now-candidate for vice-governor of the state of Minas Gerais.

247 - Previously considered a candidate for the Senate, federal deputy Jô Moraes, from the PCdoB party, confirmed that she will be part of Fernando Pimentel's (PT) ticket in the race for the Palácio da Liberdade (Governor's Palace). He said this will be the biggest challenge of his political career. "Clearly, my awareness at this moment is one of great responsibility because of the delicate situation in this country, the dismantling of the nation with Temer's policies, of social rights—this is the greatest challenge of my career. Minas Gerais will show Brazil that it will fight, once again, against the neo-liberal logic," said the now-candidate for vice-governor of the state of Minas Gerais. 

Jô Moraes also stated: "a"I accepted the challenge that the PCdoB (Communist Party of Brazil) presented to me, I accepted the proposal that Pimentel made to me because in our conversation he told me that we have to represent what Minas Gerais is. So much political struggle and that of the workers, students, but also, above all, the dimension of confronting what the liberals are doing to the country. We believe, and you (voters) will help us to say no to those who have harmed the people of Minas Gerais and Brazil."
