The Superior Electoral Court received a complaint, forwarded by Deputy Attorney General Sandra Cureau, requesting a fine for the President of the Republic and the Workers' Party (PT). Both are accused of premature election campaigning in the form of three insertions of the party's free television advertising.

Either the prosecutor remembers making a similar request for the much more explicit programs of Aécio Neves/PSDB and Eduardo Campos/PSB, or she will not escape suspicion that she acted out of personal motivation. Sandra Cureau publicly applied to replace Attorney General Roberto Gurgel. She was passed over in favor of Dilma Rousseff.
