Ipec: 54% say Bolsonaro's government was worse than expected.

According to the research, those who said they saw Jair Bolsonaro's administration as better than expected did not reach a third of the electorate.

247 - Numbers from the Ipec (formerly Ibope) survey, released this Tuesday (20), commissioned by GlobePolls showed that 54% of voters thought Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) government was worse than expected. For 32%, his administration exceeded expectations.

According to the figures, negative reviews of the government were higher among residents of the Northeast (64% say it was worse than expected), people with a family income of up to one minimum wage (62%), and voters aged 35 to 44 (59%).

Positive ratings were higher among people with a family income of more than five minimum wages (34% think it was better than expected), residents of the Midwest (36%), and people with higher education (36%).

Voting intentions

Numbers from the Ipec survey, released this Monday (19), indicated that the candidate for President of the Republic Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) would win the election in the first round.Jair Bolsonaro (PL) came in second place, with 31%. The former president would beat the PL candidate by a margin of almost 20 percentage points in the second round.

3.008 voters were interviewed between September 17th and 18th in 181 Brazilian cities. The margin of error was two percentage points, plus or minus, and the confidence level was 95%. The survey was registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under code BR-00073/2022.
