247 - Former President Fernando Henrique Cardoso stated on Monday that he "would like to have an alliance" with Marina Silva in a potential government led by Aécio Neves (PSDB). This information comes from journalist Mônica Bergamo of Folha de S. Paulo.

FHC made the statement while commenting on what Eduardo Giannetti, economic advisor to Marina's candidacy, said in an interview this Monday. According to him, if the former senator wins the elections, the PSB will seek the support of FHC and Lula to govern.

"The feeling is mutual," replied Fernando Henrique. "During Aécio's term, I would very much like to have Marina's alliance," he declared, upon leaving an event of the Global Commission on Drug Policy in São Paulo.

Yesterday, the PSDB candidate, Aécio Neves, responded differently In response to Gianneti's statement, the PSDB member mocked the search for support from FHC and Lula, declaring that what will prevail is the "original software" and that only the PSDB possesses the "qualified figures" and the best program to govern Brazil.
