Feldman takes a radical approach and Rossetto frames him.

Campaign coordinator for candidate Marina Silva (PSB), former PSDB member Walter Feldman, said this Friday that the country is at "democratic risk" with the re-election of President Dilma; according to him, the PT member, classified as "authoritarian," could have a "Bolivarian second term"; licensed minister Miguel Rossetto, who coordinates Dilma's campaign, reprimanded him: "This statement is a disgrace. Not even the dictatorship banished the left, the PT, and the people from democratic life. Walter Feldman should apologize immediately," he argued.

247 - The campaign coordinator for candidate Marina Silva (PSB), Walter Feldman, took a radical stance this Friday, the 3rd, saying that Brazil is at "democratic risk" if President Dilma Rousseff (PT) is re-elected. He described Rousseff as "authoritarian" and stated that she could have a "Bolivarian second term."

"We are at risk of losing our democracy," declared the former PSDB member in a teleconference promoted by the consulting firm GO Associados. He also said that Dilma is trying to limit press freedom in the country and that a possible second term for the PT member risks having "Bolivarian characteristics."

According to him, Dilma is trying to transform the government into a structure of persecution. The government has, according to Feldman, alienated national and international investors, who fear for the "security of Brazilian democracy" and the "stability" of the country. Marina, on the other hand, he says, if elected, will bring a "wind of confidence to the domestic and international markets."

The statements were vehemently refuted by Miguel Rossetto, who took leave from the Ministry of Agrarian Development to coordinate Dilma's campaign. "This statement is a disgrace. It disrespects democracy and the Brazilian people," he said. Rossetto stressed that "not even the dictatorship banished the left, the PT, and the people from democratic life."

According to the Workers' Party leader, "Walter Feldman should apologize immediately" for his statements. "We will respond to these statements with a great democratic victory on Sunday," he announced.
