247 - Former First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL) currently has four family members employed on the staff of pro-Bolsonaro parliamentarians. According to reporter According to O Globo, in addition to her eldest daughter, Letícia Firmo, who was appointed to a position of trust in the government of Santa Catarina, two brothers and a son-in-law of Michelle hold political positions. The total earnings of Michelle's family members exceed R$ 42,4.

Diego Torres, Michelle's brother, was the first family member to be appointed to a political position. Since January, he has held the position of "Special Advisor to the Governor I" at the Palácio dos Bandeirantes. The net salary of Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) brother-in-law is R$ 21,5 for this position of trust in the administration of Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos). Torres previously held the position of technical assistant at the Ministry of Defense during Bolsonaro's term, receiving R$ 5,6 per month.

Geovanna Kathleen, Michelle's half-sister, was also appointed to a political position, as a full parliamentary assistant in the office of Senator and former minister of Jair Bolsonaro (PL), Damares Alves (Republicanos-DF). The commissioned position offers a salary of R$ 4. Geovanna Kathleen Ferreira Lima, 24, is the daughter of the same mother as Michelle Bolsonaro, Maria das Graças Firmo Ferreira.

Also in the Senate, but in the office of Bolsonaro-supporting senator Jorge Seif (PL-SC), Letícia Firmo's boyfriend, military officer Igor Matheus Modtkowski, was hired as a driver, a position of trust for which he receives a salary of R$ 3.998,99.

Last Friday, Letícia Marianna Firmo da Silva, Michelle Bolsonaro's eldest daughter, became the fourth family member appointed to political positions by allies. The name of the new cabinet assistant at the National Articulation Secretariat (SAN) appears in last Friday's edition of the State Official Gazette. The 20-year-old will work in Brasília and is expected to receive around R$ 13.

In a statement, the state government affirmed that Letícia has experience in the role — at the Regulatory Agency for Water, Energy and Basic Sanitation of the Federal District (Adasa) — and is qualified to return to it, as she "studied law and is now pursuing a degree in public administration at the Catholic University of Brasília," according to the statement.
