In a live broadcast, Bolsonaro asks the Supreme Court to authorize search and seizure operations against Joice Hasselmann.
In the same broadcast in which he asked the Supreme Court to authorize actions against his former ally Joice Hasselmann (PSL-SP), Jair Bolsonaro also praised and urged the public to access websites identified by the Fake News Parliamentary Inquiry Commission as disseminators of false news.
247 - Jair Bolsonaro asked the Supreme Federal Court (STF) to authorize search and seizure operations against federal deputy and former ally Joice Hasselmann (PSL-SP) within the scope of the fake news inquiry. The request was made this Thursday (11) during a live broadcast on the internet. During the broadcast, Bolsonaro also praised and asked the population to access websites pointed out by the Fake News CPI as disseminators of false news.
"I hope that the Supreme Court... the majority of the justices will correct or resolve what is happening. It was already wrong to conduct searches and seizures in anyone's home, but it's even worse to do it to someone who follows me, who supports me. Forget about the other side. I hope that the audios of Joice Hasselman... no need for forensic analysis... they will conduct a search and seizure at her home," Bolsonaro said, according to a report by [source missing]. Leandro Prazeres on the Sonar blog.
Bolsonaro's statement comes in the wake of the release of audios allegedly recorded by the congresswoman in which she asked former employees of her office to create fake profiles on social media to attack political opponents.
Joice Hasselmann denies the accusations and used social media to request the seizure of Bolsonaro's cell phone in order to, according to her, verify how much he paid and what he offered to corrupt former aides, and also to expose interference in the Federal Police.
