"He left on his own accord," says Lula about Gonçalves Dias' resignation.

The former Minister of the Institutional Security Office (GSI) resigned this Wednesday after images showed his presence among Bolsonaro supporters who invaded the anti-democratic demonstrations on January 8th.

Lula was outraged that he hadn't had access to the images before the leak.The absence of images from the camera in front of the presidential office in a summary presented by the GSI (Institutional Security Office) after the break-ins had already been questioned by the top brass at the Presidential Palace, but the agency claimed that "the camera in question was not working."

This version, however, proved to be false, as CNN obtained access to footage showing Gonçalves Dias at the scene.
