247 - Federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL) admitted in a video published on his YouTube channel on Friday (23) that he paid part of the apartment located in Copacabana with cash. The apartment was bought in 2011 and is on the list of 51 properties bought by the Bolsonaro clan with cash. The information is from UOL.

"The apartment cost R$ 160 and not even a third of it was paid in cash. Everything is totally consistent with my salary, and Folha/UOL only knows this because? First, because we don't use front men, and second, I detailed the payment method in the deed," said Eduardo Bolsonaro in the video, referring to an article by journalists Juliana dal Piva and Thiago Herdy from UOL.

According to the report, the property purchased in Copacabana on February 3, 2011, was acquired for a value well below the amount assessed by the city hall at the time. The acquisition was registered at the 24th Notary Office of Rio.

The apartment was sold for R$ 160, which, adjusted for inflation (IPCA), is equivalent to R$ 320,5 today. The deed states that Eduardo's payment was made via a cashier's check for R$ 110. The remaining amount was described by the notary as: "R$ 50 in the country's legal tender, all verified, counted, and found correct, before me, which I attest to."
