247 President Dilma Rousseff will officially launch her campaign at an event that seeks to reclaim the PT's union roots. The first rally for her re-election, on the 31st of this month in São Paulo, will be hosted by the CUT (Unified Workers' Central).

The following week, the president will hold another event to bring together the labor unions UGT, CGTB, UST, and CTB. The party also aims to re-establish ties with the 'Dilma wing' of Força Sindical, which announced its support for the PSDB presidential candidate Aécio Neves.

After these appearances, President Dilma Rousseff intends to withdraw from the campaign trail and focus her campaign on television recordings and social media videos. The strategy aims to place former President Lula, the PT's biggest political asset, on as many platforms as possible and create opportunities for him to confront his opponents.
